Anyway, in a recent interview with IU's representative, he/she stated that when IU initially first got the script, they didn't expect IU's role Pilsuk to develop this much. However, IU was very happy about this development and is enjoying it alot.

IU’s representative spoke with Newsen on January 25th, and said: “When we first got the synopsis, we knew this character would be a fat and ugly one who transforms into a pretty girl. But as the character became more developed, her part definitely got bigger.”
The rep added, “The script isn’t always completed before filming starts, so we don’t know how things got developed to this point; still, her part on the show definitely became bigger than we expected. She’s very happy about it and is having fun.”
He concluded, “She comes back as the beautiful IU from the chubby Pilsook, although she said it’s easier to act as the chubby Pilsook. Please look forward to her acting because she is doing her best. ”
